From the moment I entered the model of this floor plan I felt at home and very comfortable and knew this is what I wanted. In dealing with the construction of my new home Dave Richards and his associates were very responsive to any of my questions and needs. | After having a bad experience with our last builder, we entered the market for a custom home with a great deal of trepidation. In fact, it took us 26 years to get around to building the house we desired. After seeing a number of his houses in the Parade of Homes and liking the degree of quality that we found in each home, we decided to take a risk and make an appointment with Dave Richards. Our thought being that we would take it just one step at a time with the option to back out at any point. I do not regret that first step whatsoever. He was patient and took great efforts to incorporate all the features that we desired. At no point did we feel any high pressure approaches. We were relieved to find that nothing changed when the contract was signed and we began construction. The same communication and patience continued. We were extremely pleased to see how close we came to our original estimate other than details that we changed along the way. In fact, great effort was made to make sure that the costs stayed within our original specifications. A surprising feature that we found along the way was the web page that he maintains for his customers. There is a direct email feature to help facilitate communication. All our selections for various components such as carpet and tile are maintained on this page. The blue prints are available there as well which makes it very easy to pull them up wherever I have a computer with internet access. | ||
